Description

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in EPC / Oil & Gas / Energy / Chemical industries.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for process design, calculations, and technical integrity across Pre-Bid, FEED, and Detailed Engineering.
• Perform process simulations and develop Heat & Material Balances (HMB).
• Perform equipment sizing and key calculations (hydraulics, control valves, relief loads).
• Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs, and process datasheets.
• Prepare Cause & Effect diagrams and Control Narratives.
• Support HAZOP, HAZID, and SIL studies.
• Ensure compliance with API, ASME, NFPA, ISO, and client standards (ADNOC, Shell DEP).
• Provide technical inputs and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong knowledge of process design and engineering calculations.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with simulation tools (HYSYS, UniSim, PRO II, PipeSim).
• Familiarity with API, ASME, NFPA standards.
• Exposure to ADNOC, Shell DEP (advantage).
• Capability in debottlenecking and handling design uncertainties.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
