Analytical methods for pipeline Installation by Zee Engineering Consultants Pte Ltd
At the 21st Annual Convention of the Indonesian Petroleum Association (IPA) in October 1992, ZEE Engineering Consultants Pte Ltd., in collaboration with Offshore Pipeline International Ltd., presented a paper on “Analytical Methods for Pipeline Installation.” The session explored advanced computational techniques for offshore pipeline installation, focusing on stress analysis, hydrodynamic effects, seabed interaction, and installation methodologies. Key topics included finite element modeling (FEM), dynamic simulations, and risk mitigation strategies to optimize laying operations, structural integrity, and cost efficiency in offshore pipeline projects.
