Indonesian Petroleum Association 27th Annual Convention & Exhibition, Oct 1999
At the 27th Annual Convention & Exhibition of the Indonesian Petroleum Association (IPA) in October 1999, ZEE Engineering Consultants Pte Ltd., in collaboration with YPF Maxus Southeast Sumatra Inc., presented a technical paper on “Structural Integrity Assessment of Existing Platforms.” This session focused on evaluating the condition of aging offshore structures, covering key aspects such as fatigue analysis, corrosion assessment, load capacity reassessment, and structural reinforcement strategies. Advanced methodologies, including finite element analysis (FEA) and risk-based inspection (RBI), were discussed to enhance platform safety, extend operational lifespan, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
