This project involved the digitization and conversion of outdated rig documentation from PDF format to CAD drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with modern engineering standards. The scope included redrawing structural, piping, mechanical, and electrical layouts, enhancing clarity for modifications, maintenance, and future upgrades. Key challenges included interpreting faded, hand-drawn, and scanned documents, resolving inconsistencies, and ensuring dimensional accuracy. The final deliverables consisted of precisely drafted CAD files, organized in layers for easy modifications and integration with BIM and 3D modeling software, enabling efficient asset management and engineering workflows.
