Overview

• Key Firsts: This is Asia’s first large‐scale gas‑to‑power project using an FSRU in which LNG import, regasification and power generation are integrated.
• Ship‑to‑Ship LNG Transfer: Instead of fixed onshore LNG terminals, the FSRU receives LNG via LNG carriers, with ship‑to‑ship transfer being part of operations.
• Modularity & Flexibility: FSRU allows relatively faster deployment, less land use onshore compared to full LNG import terminal + large regasification plant onshore.
• Large‐scale Gas Turbine Integration: The combined cycle power blocks integrated with the FSRU/Natural Gas supply ensures efficiency and relatively lower emissions compared to single cycle or fossil alternatives.
