Trincomale Jetty

Overview

The Tokyo Cement Jetty in Trincomalee is a purpose-built marine facility designed to handle bulk cement-related cargo for Tokyo Cement Company (Lanka) PLC. Located in Sri Lanka’s deep-water Trincomalee Harbour, the jetty supports vessels up to 32,000 DWT and enables efficient import/export of raw materials and finished products.

Constructed with marine-grade steel piles and precision alignment systems, the structure ensures durability in harsh coastal conditions. It forms a key part of Tokyo Cement’s infrastructure expansion, supporting a new 1 million ton per annum grinding plant and streamlining the company’s supply chain.

Power distribution design (MV/LV)

Motor control centers (MCC), variable frequency drives (VFDs)

PLC/SCADA automation systems & Instrumentation and sensor layout

5. Utility Systems Engineering

Compressed air systems, Water treatment and supply systems

Wastewater treatment (effluent/sewage) and Firefighting and safety systems

6. Integration with Jetty Operations

Synchronizing unloading systems with storage silos and Real-time control and monitoring of material flow from ship to silo followed by Emergency response planning and controls
