Overview

The development of Maluku Port in Maluku, Indonesia aims to enhance regional connectivity, stimulate local economic growth, and strengthen the region’s integration into national and international trade networks.

Key infrastructure upgrades include the construction of deep-water berths, modern cargo terminals, expanded storage facilities, and improved transport links to inland areas. The project also involves dredging operations, the installation of advanced cargo handling equipment, and the enhancement of customs and port administration facilities to increase operational efficiency and reduce vessel turnaround times.

As part of Indonesia’s “Tol Laut” (Sea Toll) initiative, the modernization of Maluku Port is expected to significantly improve maritime access across Eastern Indonesia, lower logistics costs, and contribute to long-term, sustainable economic development in the Maluku region.
