Overview

PT Pertamina Hulu Energi West Madura Offshore (PHE WMO) operates the West Madura and Poleng assets, which are located offshore in East Java, Indonesia. These offshore oil fields produce crude oil that is stored and exported through a dedicated offshore loading system.

Oil production from the WMO field is transported to a Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) unit, which serves as the final storage facility before export. The FSO is moored via a Single Point Mooring (SPM) system, allowing it to remain securely stationed offshore while facilitating safe and efficient offloading operations.

• Design of Single Point Mooring (SPM) System:
  • Selection and layout of the SPM unit suitable for crude oil offloading operations.
  • Mooring analysis and configuration to accommodate oil tankers under varying environmental conditions.
• Pipeline End Manifold (PLEM):
  • Structural and mechanical design of subsea PLEM for connection with the SPM and subsea pipelines.
• Subsea Pipelines:
  • Hydraulic and mechanical design check of subsea pipelines from PLEM to shoreline.
  • Route selection, seabed survey interpretation, and pipeline protection measures.
  • Material selection and corrosion protection systems.
